Using Technology to Enhance the Learning Experience

As an educator, you’ve probably wondered these questions yourself: What are some things I can do with technology to make learner’s experiences better? What new technologies should I be aware of? Maybe even using? How do I keep up with the latest developments and tools? As a trainer, what do I do to keep myself up to speed on the use of these tools?

Come to this session and learn some of the new ways traditional education and training methods can be enhanced with technology, find resources to keep up to date on new developments and tools, and know what technologies should be on your radar right now.

About our presenter:

Patti Heisler is the Assistant Director of Training and Academic Technologies with the North Dakota University System. Currently, she works with 11 campuses across the state to provide consulting services, training and support for faculty and staff on the uses and applications of a variety of technologies used for academic education and employee training.  Patti has also worked as an assistant professor, adjunct instructor, instructional designer, training manager, and was a founding board member of FM-ASTD.
