Jodi Stende, President
Jodi guides a team of online learning designers to create courses that are meaningful, memorable, and motivational for learners. She has over 10 years of experience in training, content writing, instructional design and online learning. She also advocates for people and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and serves on the Board of Directors for the North Dakota Autism Center.
Sabrina Olsen, Past President (2020)
Sabrina has a passion for learning and an energy for people. She loves that learning and development combines both purposes. Sabrina manages a team who develops and implements learning strategies and programs including e-learning courses as well as virtual and in-person workshops. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from MSUM.
Jeanne Masseth, President-Elect
Jeanne Masseth is a mentoring consultant and executive coach. Growing leaders while driving business results is her jam. Her wheelhouse is crafting high-impact mentoring programs and professional coaching in the workplace. Her peer advisory groups help internal and external leaders solve problems, make better decisions, and take action on their goals. Jeanne’s a certified facilitator and professional coach, in addition to maintaining SPHR and SHRM-SCP designations. When she's not working, you’ll find her cheering on her children’s activities, traveling, running, and enjoying time on the water.
Kacie Weber, VP Communications and Marketing
Kacie provides training to employees seeking to further their careers in retail banking. Additionally, she partners with other teams to deliver effective curriculum and training programs. She is a graduate of the United Way 35 Under 35 Women's Leadership Program, a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and a Certified Bank Training Professional. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Advertising.
Ellie Nickel, VP of Membership
Ellie Nickel has 20 years of Learning and Development and traditional Human Resource experience. In her current position she is responsible for Talent Management and Performance Panagement of approx. 1500 employees across North America. Ellie is a certified Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and ProSci Change Practitioner and she holds the designations of SPHR, SHRM – SCP and ODCP.
Tina Lemi, VP of Programming Administration
Tina is responsible for improving the productivity of bank employees through the effective development, coordination and presentation of quality training and development programs. Tina is a graduate of the FMWF Chamber Leadership program. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Dickenson State University.
Wade Carlin, VP Programming Recruitment
Wade Carlin has worked in Talent Development at Noridian Healthcare Solutions since 2016. Prior to that he held positions in EDI Support Services, Provider Enrollment, and Provider Outreach and Education in the same organization. He has a passion for teaching and a desire to help others be their best. Wade completed his bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in instructional design and technology from the University of North Dakota. He enjoys golf, fishing, FM Redhawks baseball and Fargo Force hockey.
Mary Bommersbach, VP Special Programs
Mary has over 20 years of experience working in learning and development. Her experience includes training and developing employees in a classroom or virtual training environment, mentoring new trainers, project management and supporting LMS systems. Mary is passionate about training and team building. Mary has a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from MSUM.
Sara Madsen, Board Member at Large - Fargo Area
Sara loves empowering others to grow. She would like nothing more than to visit with others about their talent, skills and career aspirations and then lead them on a path to success. At a company with a nationwide footprint that means partnering with the business to provide professional and essential skill curriculums with online learning as well as virtual and classroom opportunities. She has never really thought of herself as a techy sort of person, but she is! Sara uses technology tools to engage remote audiences in learning. Sara knows that being a board member for ATD ND is a fantastic opportunity to share what she knows and learn from all of you too.
