Transition/Change Management in Organizations:  Leading and Navigating change in Organizations

Presented by:  Michael Harwood

Program Summary:

In our work change has become a constant.  We have the responsibility to hire, train, and develop employees in organizations, yet, as talent development professionals, we rarely train and develop employees for leading and managing change and transition.  This presentation looks at different ways to understand change and transition and provides a framework for transition leadership/management in organizations as well as strategies to prepare, train, and develop employees for transition.

Learning objectives or outcomes of the presentation:

1.       Understand the difference between change and transition

2.       Reflect and identify transition in organizations

3.       Apply a framework for transition leadership/management in organizations

4.       Strategies to prepare, train, and develop employees for transition
