Unconventional Workplace Learning

Ever wonder how people really build their professional practices?  This session will explore the effective practices of unconventional and transformative learning processes in the workplace that promote accelerated knowledge and skill development, resulting in reciprocal learning that benefits work units and organizations.

As a result of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Discover how the learning approaches of formal, informal, and incidental learning are used as tools in workplace learning through daily work activities, learning from others, and guided learning.
  • Understand the transformative learning process to accelerate learning, deepen engagement, and build life-long professional practices.
