Bystander Training for the Workplace

Presented by Dave Leingang, Exploring Leadership Soulutions

What is your organization doing to create a safe work environment? Online classes about harassment and bullying? Zero-tolerance policies in place? Supervisory training provided annually? Studies say that’s not enough. According to the EEOC, an organization also should be providing training on what bystanders can do if they see harassment or bullying.

So what exactly is “bystander training” and why does it matter? Dave Leingang, Exploring Leadership Soulutions, will share components and critical content to include in bystander training.

Dave Leingang, founder of Exploring Leadership Soulutions, retired from the United States Navy in 2003 with twenty-one years of service. He continued his leadership training by becoming a John Maxwell Team Founding Partner in 2011. Dave's been facilitating strategic planning processes, leadership classes and mastermind groups for more than twelve years in a wide variety of industries, including government and transportation.

Location: Great Plains Room of the BSC Student Union.  Networking luncheon from 11:30 am - 11:55am.  You are welcome to bring lunch or purchase one from the BSC Mystic Café.

Guests are welcome.
