Professional Development Session | Learning Won't Stick if You Ignore Transfer! (Virtual)

Learning Won’t Stick if You Ignore Transfer is a one hour interactive webinar, we will be focusing on the leadership role and how learning leaders support learner transfer throughout the learning process. We will discuss how leaders can support the learner transfer process throughout and create a culture of learning within organizations. We provide practice ways to ensure learners actually use what they are learning in a training session. Join us as we develop leaders to stay on the path to making training stick within organizations.

Objectives:

1. Participants will learn how to support learner transfer before and after the learning session.

2. Participants will learn practical tools and techniques to support learner transfer.

3. Participants will learn how to include techniques to promote learner transfer before, during and after the learning session.

Dr. Tammy Means is Chief Learning Officer of Make Training Stick®, a subsidiary of Learning Services and Solutions Inc., a human capital development firm located in Mississippi and Alabama. Tammy’s true passions are Workforce Development and Information Technology competency. Tammy has provided workforce development and information technology services for healthcare, universities, the energy sector, childcare centers, and other industries throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. With her broad range of expertise in software technology and human capital development, Tammy also services as an adjunct professor at Tulane University where she teaches project management, computer networking, human resources, and leadership courses. Tammy joined the Make Training Stick® in March 2018 and leads new content – Sticky Notes®, consultations, articles, and continues to remain an active member of National ATD and multiple states ATD chapters.
