Being able to effectively make decisions, and guide teams through decision making, is a crucial skill for individuals at all levels of an organization.  Even though we make dozens of decisions daily, continuing to develop this skill by incorporating frameworks and best practices can make us more effective. This session will focus on the RAPID model for roles in decision making along with action ideas for incorporating key steps in the decision making process.

Amy Olmsheid has a master's in counseling psychology, and over 20 years of experience in career counseling, talent development and organizational effectiveness.  An experienced facilitator, Amy brings a pragmatic approach to teaching using a blend of storytelling, research-based frameworks and practical applications.  As an HR consultant she has implemented career management and emerging leader programs for organizations across the country.  During her career, she has worked in higher education, corporate, non-profit and government sectors.
