Community Of Practice (COP) Leading Change with Clarity and Confidence

As we conclude our journey through the art of leading change, this final session focuses on a crucial topic: the common mistakes leaders make when navigating change—and how to avoid them.

Change leadership can be challenging, but recognizing potential pitfalls and addressing them proactively is key to success. Together, we’ll explore these challenges, share experiences, and work on practical solutions to strengthen your leadership approach.

This is your opportunity to reflect, learn, and refine your skills to lead change effectively and confidently. Let’s close out this series with actionable insights that will empower you to inspire and guide others through even the most complex transitions.

We look forward to seeing you there—don’t miss it!

COP Leader: Kristi Schultz, Sr. Learning & Development Specialist at Border States

As a child, Kristi Schultz, dreamed of becoming a cheerleader. When told it wasn’t a profession, she refused to let that deter her.  Instead, she has worked hard in every role she’s held, determined to embody the spirit of a cheerleader in every way possible—lifting others up, inspiring positivity, and championing those around her.

Kristi is a devoted and compassionate individual with an unwavering passion for empowering others to reach their personal and professional goals. She firmly believes in the boundless potential within every person and blends empathy, expertise, and dedication to help individuals unlock their greatest capabilities.

As a mentor, coach, and advocate, Kristi has supported countless individuals through their growth journeys, providing practical tools, personalized strategies, and motivational guidance tailored to their unique needs. Whether helping others advance in their careers or navigate personal development, Kristi creates meaningful connections that foster confidence, clarity, and lasting success.

In her free time, Kristi enjoys reading, volunteering, exploring innovative ways to make a difference, and cherishing moments with her grandchildren. Her life’s work reflects her heartfelt belief that helping others succeed is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling endeavors.
